the only way to get to heaven is to ask Jesus into you heart and except him into your heart as your lord and savior. You have to do this by praying to god that he forgives you for all your sins and ask Jesus to come into your heart as your lord and savior. You should watch Joel Osteen on sunday mornings at eight i think that it is on channel 13 if you have WOW. He always talks about it at the end of the show. If you want to understand what will happen before Jesus comes back you should read revelations in the Bible.

There is a material heaven and a spiritual heaven. IF one is desiring material things then at the time of death and they have very good Karma (pious credits) they can go their. IF one is desiring the eternal spiritual Kingdom of God then one actually has to think of God at the time of death. It is not so easy to do though we are generally attached to so many things (body, home, family members, etc.) one has to be willing and able to give up all of this. IF one follows the actual teachings of Christ it tells this. For his original teachings google gospelofthenazirenes.c - Has the original New testament before Constantine Changed so many things. We also have to go and sin no more" but most Christians don't take though shall not kill in its true meaning (it means animals and eating animal flesh)

Heaven in my opinion is what you desire it to be. I can't imagine our after life being somewhere that just appeals to one group of people, since everyone has a different Idea of what it will look like, some think that it's big fluffy clouds and white pearly gates, where all is calm and peaceful. That isn't every ones Idea of heaven. So why would God create a place that wouldn't suit each individual. So I think we are rewarded with what we desire the most. I also believe in reincarnation and that people live several different lives until their soul has evolved enough to become one of his angels and gaurdians.

There are only 2 things I know for sure about Heaven: one is, that we have no idea what it will be like, but 2, it will be wonderful.
Don't go by the old streets of gold thing...in Revelation John was trying to describe something beyond words.
The sure way to get there is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

My dear Grandmother suddenly smiled. her eyes got bright .she raised her hands up and cried out Jesus and passed on at the nursing home ,she had cancer
I do not know what heaven will be like ,we will know if we get there.I have heard of people dieing on the operating table and leaving there body and seeing friends and family that have gone on.we just will not really know.till we pass on from this world
as a nurse who worked at a nursing home told me she had heard of people doing as my grandmother did, but the old mean people would sometimes scream and holler right before they died. i don't think they went somewhere pleasant

All the Sundays for the rest of your life, and a fanatical devotion to your belief. Then you have a 50-50 chance.
