It is absolutely normal and very healthy. A lot of girls, however, think they are fat at that weight and go on crazy diets. They end up looking like skeletons and that is not only unattractive, but also unhealthy and dangerous. I weighed 120 pounds when I was fifteen and I was about that height, maybe a bit shorter. I have been to many endocrinologists and I have read many different charts of weight and height proportions. 130 pounds is excellent for 5''3.

DO NOT listen to those so called men who think u need to loose a few pounds, if u are tone or a bit chubby and dont gain anymore .i bet u look bueatiful. Those **** holes are the reason we have so many eating disorders in the world especially with teens ur age. start walking and make sure u eat health when u can and try to get excersize for health sake and dont listen to the ones who pout u down. you know who u r.u should be ashamed of urselfs thinking like that. maybe 1 day u will gain 150 pounds bald n fat and wonder why noone will look at u twice and then think about ur answers

Nothing is "normal" at 15. If you are eating fairly healthy and active and not obsessing over weight, then you are doing great. Don't ever let someone else tell you what is or isn't normal. Only worry if a doctor tells you to. All bodies are different, but 130 and 5'3" sounds about average anyway.

It's a good weight. If anything a tiny bit heavy, maybe by ten pounds or so.
But at 15, your body is changing a whole lot and you're still growing. If you eat healthy and stay reasonably fit, you'll be fine.
You shouldn't worry about your weight when you're 15, unless you're way underweight or overweight. You aren't either.

First of all, you would see that as a little bit chubby but it all matters on your body because your muscles, and breasts add extra weight to your body. Also, you are experiencing puberty right now and through puberty a girl will gain about 40 pounds. Also you could try this website http://www.healthcentral.com/diet-exercise/ideal-body-weight-3146-143.html
it tells you more about how much you should weight...
