ten pounds a month is achievable but it will take more than just diet, you will have to exercise and cut calories. Normally two pounds a week is maximum for maintaining health. Look at your normal calorie intake and then reduce it so you eat fewer calories and then burn more calories to equal each pound of weight you want to lose each pound is 3, 500 calories. If you are eating 2 000 calories a day and reduce that to 1 500 that should give you a weight loss of one pound a week ( 500 x 7 ) If you burn 500 extra calories a day that is another pound. Do not get discouraged by slow starts or slumps. Its almost best to only weigh yourself once a week. Drink lots of water, stick to low fat, high protien and low carbs. Do not deny yourself anything, just cut back and keep it balanced.
