The Bible is very specific and focuses on actual sexually immoral sins like adultry, beastiality, incest, homosexuality, fornication, etc etc. The reason why the Bible perhaps doesnt mention masturbation as sexual sin is because it is not a sexual sin. To committ a sexual sin you have the subject (you) and the object of sin (married person, animal, same sex partner, person youre not married to)
The problem with pleasing yourself is that it builds up a fantasy sexual world in your mind and after you get married, is hard to break the cycle. Over time, this fantasy life also weakens your integrity and your ability to say NO to situations of temptation.
So is it sin? No proabably not. Does it lead to sin? Yes definately.

>>I have been masterbatin instead of havin sex, because I want to wait till marriage:)<<
It is a sin, but it is the lesser of the two evils, IMO. If you are by yourself, you can't get pregnant or catch an STD.

Masturbation is only a sin if it prevents you from having a normal life. If you were to never have a normal relationship with another person, and it were taking the place of human companionship permanently, it would be sinful.
If you are not ready for the emotional and physical strain of sex and childbirth, what you are doing is perfectly acceptable. Waiting for marriage is a very noble thing.

Not a sin but it keeps one attached to the material body and at the time of death it Will be very difficult to think of God which is the only way to rerun to The spiritual world Unannounced to the So called Christians. For the original Teachings of Christ google gospelofthenazirenes.c The original New testament before king Constantine changed so many things.

In and of itself there is not something incorrect masturbation. the place sin enters in is once you visualize yet another guy or woman or use porn. then you are using yet another guy or woman for you egocentric income. It makes no distinction if the guy would not certainly recognize that they are being utilized in that way. It additionally damages any relationship you have with the authentic individual because of the fact once you're with them you will see them as a intercourse-merchandise quite than a pal or acquaintance. Likewise sexual intercourse with out love and a dedication is likewise using the different despite if there became into consent. Then it rather is purely 2 human beings using the different individual.

ok, so I had this same question.....and it was funny. I asked around and you know people that are older and in to church, don't like to even discuss this. So I asked my mom....I talk to her about everything. She goes to church and she knows the bible. She advised me that even masturbation was a sin. I was distubed by this, I too am I young woman that have made the decision to wait until I am married to have sex. So then I asked my boyfriend to ask his mother who is involved tn church and she advised me to read 1st Corinthians.....and she advised me to read the whole chapter. Basically, I stopped masturbating, its just to confusing to think about. The book states that a man is supposed to make you feel a certain way, and then if you think about it there is another book in the bible where one of the men were masturbating and wasted his seeds and he did the wrong thing. I would stop doing it. Wait......just think the sex that you have, when you decide to have it will be great.. Hopes this helps

It depends which sect of christianity you adhere to. In catholism, its a sin for young men to masterbate, as its "killing" all those little sperm that could make babies. I don't know about the women in said sect though.
Besides that, the rest seem pretty liberal about letting people release the pressure.

It isn't considered a sin really because it isn't in the bible. But any kind of sexual act that doesn't result in procreation is a sin according to the bible.

Masterbation is not fornication. It's perfectly natural. If it feels good, do it.
