everybody hates something right? some people just hate tattoos. some peopel hate people of other ethnicities. some people hate people of other religions. some people hate smart people. some people hate stupid people.

because of the history of tattoos mainly in western cultures. In most western cultures tattoos were first used to mark slaves and then it moved to the criminal population that had the most of them so the stigmata of tattoos is that of the underbelly of society. unfortunetly the people who see tattoos in that light don't realize the beauty in them and the fact that in many native african cultures tattoos are used as a right of passage into adulthood and being accepted in to a tribe and family type setting

You mean, "normal", average, everyday, conservative, stubborn, narrow-minded, ignorant, inhibited people?...I think you have your answer. I love tattoos, as long as they're creative and artistic. I watch Miami Ink. I don't want to get tattoos. I think they'd mar my beautiful pale skin (I'm narcissistic AND eccentric). But on some people, they look great. I also like the thought of a clean-cut guy in a suit who has a nice "normal" desk job and a wicked tattoo under those normal clothes. That's always a surprise.

They are permanent, and they dont like many other peoples tats. People might look at somebody with a tattoo and say thats a freak! I've done it, and im not getting a tattoo anytime soon.

I don't think that people hate tattoos...they probably don't like how people act when they get them...people only get them because they're trendy and they think they look cool or sexy... be your own person...don't do what everybody else is doing by permanently damaging your skin for ridiculous reasons...stereo-typically people w/tattoos are tryin to be bad-a**'s or sexy...if you need a tattoo to prove that you're that kind of person, you're an idiot!

Well quite often the person is misunderstood. They think people with tattoos are seeking attention or have nothing else to do with their time! I have a couple myself and to me those remarks are getting old and tired! Just let people do what they are going to do. It took my mom some time to get used to the fact that I have them now! Now she sees them the way I see them! Just don't let those people get to you!

i like tattoos but what i dont like is people who go overboard. i mean how does one exist as a self made freak. i think tattoos should have some meaning behind them instead mindless graffiti.

why do people hate anything? they tie it in to a belief. Thier momma said it looks tacky and it stuck. its that simple.
