If I recall correctly, the Techsat receiver is an FTA satellite receiver. In FTA receivers, the channel numbers are completely arbitrary. You don't receive a channel map from the satellites; you define your own channel numbers. Without knowing what you have mapped, it is impossible to completely and accurately answer your question. My guess is that the other channels are on a different satellite than which you are pointed to, or that the channels no longer exist. Make sure you're pointed at the right satellite for what channels you're trying to watch. Use known active transponders by looking at http://www.lynsat.com and verify all the transponders are in and correct (and not encrypted!), then rescan all of your transponders. Add on a positioner to get channels from other satellites without having to manually point the dish yourself.
