Look Historically. The jews killed people for believing in christ, and christ himself. It wasnt excepted at first. Couldnt that be said the same as how scientology is being nailed to the cross with critisism....? Same could be said of mormons, and any other church said to be a cult. So why are we not attacking the mormons with everything we got, or any other.....I think its because scientology is a new religion...The christians themselves even killed people for not believing in christ, in my opinion if I had lived back, lets say, durning the crusades...I would have though it was a dangerous cult too. what do u think?

(yes im posting this question again because i didnt get a good enough answer.)

I know all about scientology, thank you.

THIS IS MY OPINION FROM MY OBSERVATIONS.

Scientology has tools and techniques for the NON-Religious community as well: Applied Scholastic, Narconon, Crimonon, WISE and Volunteer Ministers.

Scientology shows you how to find out for yourself. I have practiced Scientology for 7 years now. I have found out how to more effectively help people, how to be more myself and a lot more about who I really am.

Anybody who attacks Scientology are in one of a few classes. Often a person has no real knowledge, so they go along with the made up rubbish.

I went to Catholic primary and secondary schools, I went to church on Sundays. I found that this can give a person a feeling of belonging and community. I found what was taught was helpful in molding compassion and understanding. I thought then and still do now that Jesus was the coolest person. He done everything he could to give mankind some hope of a future.

The difference with the two that i have seen are: Scientology gives you techniques and practices to allow you to view the truth for yourself. With Catholicism I found that the truth was told in beautiful stories and analogies.

From my point of view they both have the goal of man realizing he is a spiritual being.

The Scientology faith is extra in the custom of Buddhism as a faith. Scientology as a faith is approximately increasing a persons' very own understanding so as that he ought to stay existence extra as he see extra healthful. the undemanding theory is that in case you handle a individual as a spiritual being you are able to rehabilitate superb understanding in the guy. i think of that the folk of this western lifestyle has had an particularly constrained instruction and exposure to all distinctive religious ideals in this great huge international the place we are living. And fail to work out the similarity of those sort of ideals yet as a replace get caught on the variations. of direction many susceptible persons in this international desire to maintain guy pinned to his fears and inhibitions so as that they squawk and shriek approximately somebody attempting to advance themselves. Many Christians are additionally Scientologist. the matters do no longer conflict.

Christianity is the belief in christ. Scentology is a cult that is deadly. Scientology is not at all the same a Christianity. Yes Christianity has a bad past and people do make it fundamental and it gets extreme, but there is only an extreme version of scientology

Yes..... and the Romans spread lies and rumor about Christians and fed quite a few to the lions ...... and Hitler spread lies and rumor about the Jews and murdered 6 million of them without protest......and Scientology has had similar treatment in it's formative years (lies and rumor and attack).
The difference is that Scientology fought back and won. This is upsetting to some. The fact that it is still here growing and expanding is still upsetting to some.
But not the majority and those who might still try now, can do very little to stop it because the battles were fought and won in the name of freedom of religion. (Old or New)

Any freedom involves a willingness to fight back and those
who would prefer a slave society tend to object.
Too bad.

If you know all about Scientology, then why are you asking?

Having tried to research Scientology by attending with a friend so I could know more about his beliefs I found the leaders of two different centers to be nothing less than condescending and rude when they realized that I was a licensed Spiritual Counselor. I was there to learn, not to judge and yet I was literally asked to step outside and wait for my friend when I asked why a video they showed me said that "if you don't follow this plan you may as well jump off a bridge."

I was raised to honor all paths and find it sad when others can't see that there are many paths to God.

The crusades had nothing to do with killign people for not being christian. Christianity was the only way to unify the divded and savage europeans, always fighting eachother, so that they could work together to try and cripple a serious threat, the Turks, who were far more powerful than any individual nation in europe, and were knocking at their door after they destroyed byzantium.

Every cult can be defined as a group having all of the following five characteristics:

1. It uses psychological coercion to recruit, indoctrinate and retain its members
2. It forms an elitist totalitarian society.
3. Its founder leader is self-appointed, dogmatic, messianic, not accountable and has charisma.
4. It believes 'the end justifies the means' in order to solicit funds & recruit people.
5. Its wealth does not benefit its members or society.

You decide.

Christianity was made up about 400 C.E. with a mix of teachings of Christ and Paul the apostle. Scientology was made up in 1960 C.E. by a Science fiction writer.

Scientology is all about improving the life you have. Christianity is about GIVING your life to Christ.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. -Galatians 2:20
