My boyfriend and I were walking together after school and then my boyfriend's older brother comes up with his best friend and they start talking and they didn't include me in. Then my boyfriend almost didn't say good bye when we walked out the school building. I don't know why, but I felt totally ignored and usually he talks to me ALOT after school, but today was different. Do you think I got mad a little too easily? I mean, I wasn't even included in. Do you think I am complaining over a little thing?

Also, my boyfriend's brother seems a little annoyed when we talk and sometimes (not always), he might try to get in the way.

I know how u feel, my bf always did that to me, but it's just what guys do. Just think about if ur friends came up and u started talking about purses or shoes and ur bf was there, it's hard to include him in it! If he keeps it up, talk to him but for now its not a prblem.

Boy - you're high maintenance!!

Can't your boyfriend even talk to anyone else??? Not even a family member - without you feeling left out??

Get a life of your own and build up your self esteem or you'll lose him for good.

You should try calling him. Tell him your feelings. Tell him that do you think I got mad to easily? I think that you should try talking to him. Maybe he was complaining a bit or I cant believe this but he is ashamed of you in front of his brother.

Not really anshamed but a bit uncomfortable with his older brother. I guess talk to him tonight!

if this was a one off incident then i think you may have over reacted. However, if it happened before with his brother, then you were right to be annoyed. If his brother was watching out for your bf he should try and include you in whatever they were doing. and your bf should not have left you feeling excluded

actually you're not.
I guess it's much better if you asked him after they talked if there's something wrong. You'll never know. But if he doesn't want to tell you though, just dont ask anymore, forget it. Anyway it's his brother right? I guess they have something private to talk about. But still the best option is ask him coz maybe there's something wrong, maybe what they at talked about is something serious

yeah...you are over reacting and if you were to bring this up to me I'd probably cut it off....

It's a good idea to chose your battles...they probably didn't include you because they don't think you could have added anything to the conversation...next time jump in the conversation or just sit back and watch your man handle business...either way it's not something to lose sleep over

it's probably just some little thing to not worry about. so you shouldn't worry don't worry about it too much, unless it starts happening more and more often. then you would have to start speaking up or something. try making yourself more noticeable when he starts ignoring you.

"Boys" often do this in front of other "boys". It's OK. Just a minor lack of maturity. Let it go unless it becomes a habit in which case I would call him on it.
