ok so i'm 14 i'm getting my permit in a year and i really want to drive now and was wondering if my mom should go ahead and let me practice driving. if so how can i ask her so she'll let me?

No! no! no! Don't practice until you have your permit. If you were to get stopped or God forbid, get in an accident you'd be in BIG trouble and so would your mother. Please wait until you have the permit in hand, then get out there and practice.

No, that's what the permit is for! It's illegal to let you drive without it. You have 6-12 months with your permit before you get your license. That's plenty of time to practice.

Sure, as soon as you have your permit, if she wants, she can let you drive. If she lets you drive without a permit, she can be cited and fined for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive her car. If you have an accident, her insurance would not cover it, and she could lose everything. You don't want that, do you? Good. WAIT.

Nope u need ur permit just wait dude till next year, as 4 me i had my permit since last year and im getting my license in june......YEAAAAAAAAAAA
