I've always heard that either honey dew melons or cantaloupes are considered "the perfect food", in that it is packed with nutrition and low in calories. I just can't remember which it is. Anybody know?

wasn't it just a generic recommendation to eat "melons"?

If I were to guess, I would pick cantaloupe using the theory that the brighter the color the more nutritious.

Orange implies higher carotenoids which is an anti-oxidant.
