Ipecac is not considered safe to use any longer. It does not remove poison from the system and it has long-term effects on the esophagus. Its method of action is to disturb the muscles of the esophagus and the heart.

Are you trying to pull a prank on someone,to see what will happen ? Don't do it,a person could choke to death while vomiting, inhaling stomach contents into the lungs. it can also cause a chemical pneumonia by inhaling caustic stomach acids. The same risk's would be for you if you're trying to "purge" after a binge. It's dumb and dangerous etc. SW RNP
