I have a Dr. appt. in a couple of weeks but until then what can I do for this upset stomach? I use Pepcid and Rolaids constantly and it helps for a little while. Is there a home remedy I can try for longer term solution? I also take a little baking soda and water and a warm 7up but all this just gives me short term relief. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Have a nice day and thanks in advance.

Perhaps instead of a solution after your stomach is upset, try and work out what you are doing that is causing the trouble in the first place. Excess weight can be a problem as can certain food types. A lot of people expect it to be acidic food like tomatoes but when food related it can be red capsicums, red wine, sometimes oranges. Try cutting down on anything but plain food for a few days and then introduce things one at a time. Prevention is always the way to go. But please don't miss your Doctors appt when it comes up in case it is a medical condition that needs to be checked.

I think that you should try to reschedule your appointment so you can see your doctor sooner! Maybe you don't need to be miserable for 2 more weeks if you explain the problem. Most doctors can work in extra patients who need it.
In the short term, I think I would(if your haven't already)change to a blander diet - things that sooth rather than add to stomach problems. Also, when I have an upset stomach, I drink room temperature club soda. I've found it works much better than the remedies you're using(ones I've also used). Also, over the counter acid reducers like Zantac and Pepsid might help. Check with your pharmacy.
Hope you're better soon!

I have got an excellent remedy for your upset stomach! Do you know what peppermint candies look like? They are little circle shaped candies that have red swirls on them and they are individually wrapped and a candy company called,"Brach's,"used to make them. I am not sure who makes these candies now,but if you look in your,"Candy,"aisle of your local grocery stores, you will be sure to find some. Also,I have heard that peppermint tea is really good too for calming down an upset stomach! There is just something about peppermint that is naturally helpful in helping your stomach calm down so you don't throw up! I would see if you could reschedule your appointment to a much sooner date if possible, because I can only imagine the kind of pain and discomfort that you are in! I hope you feel better soon, good luck at the doctor's office, and I hope that my advice has been helpful for you?? ;-)
