A couple questions in one. Best answer goes to the one who can answer the first question.

1. How do I add music to my media player even though its already on my computer.

2.What is your honest opinion on Windows vista.

3. Why does my SNES emulator keep pushing all my sprites to the left like someone is sitting on the controler?

OK.. when you start media player you will see a series of Tabs across the top.. click on the little arrow under the Library tab.. go to the " Add to Library" option, Then when the new screen opens it will default to the My Music Folder on your primary Hard Drive.

Now if you have your music saved else where then you need click the "Add" button and then you can select the folder where you have your pics, music or videos saved.

Now I own a computer repair business.... I am on the fence about Vista... it has it good points for graphics and some user friendly features... however the errors that have not been fixed are a real nuisance. ie.. installing yahoo messenger.. running games or programs etc..
So its all about your patience till they get the kinks out of it... could be a year or better. I feel they rushed it.

Your SNES.. I don't mess with it often but you might consider checking the settings and make sure they are to your likings.. also check the screen properties on your desktop and make sure it is not set to Auto Align.

Any more problems you can email me.

1a) To add music to Media PLAYER, right click on the upper menu to bring up the "File, Edit, View, etc etc" option, and I think the "File" menu gives the option to "Add to library". The system will do an automatic search of the whole system and add everything on your PC.

1b) To add music to Media CENTER, go to Tools>>Settings, and either under Music or Video options or one of those, you have the option to "Add folders to watch". You can then select folders on your PC that have Media that you want to add.

2) Vista has been a blessing for me. I have not had to restart or shutdown my PC since the upgrade, nor have I had ANY compatibility issues. BUT you HAVE to have the hardware to support it. If you installed XP on a machine designed for Windows 95, it would suck. In order for the software to evolve, the hardware has to evolve with it. Vista is designed for dual core processing (mainly Intel Core 2 Duo's), AT LEAST 2GB of RAM (1GB is the minimum, but NEVER use the minimum requirements), and a 128MB or 256MB graphics card. This is a transition period for computer technology. We're moving into a period where the standard hardware includes dual core processing and lots of RAM. Look at any new PC at Best Buy...they all have those specs. I don't recommend an upgrade if you are lacking in these specs.

3) I have no idea.
