I dont know but I guarentee youd pass out before you burned a full pound

It takes about 100 calories for a 150 lb person to run a mile regardless of the speed. Also, it takes a 3500 calorie deficit to lose 1 lb of fat. Therefore, it would take 35 miles to lose 1 lb of fat. This is why focusing on increasing your resting metabolic rate is more important than the calories that are burned during the exercise. Weight training increases your lean mass to burn extra calories 24 hours per day and (believe it or not), is more effective than cardio for this reason. It also explains why nutrition is more effective than both types of exercise combined because the calories that you burn in running a mile is less than what is in 1 tablespoon of oil. To loose 1 pound you have to burn 3700 calories so you would have to run for a long, join a gym and they will calculate it for you.
