they are frozen and i am in a rush to cook them for today. Can i run them under cold water until they thaw out or will that destroy them? The package says thaw overnight in fridge, too bad i didnt since i need them today for cooking.

I never thaw overnight always in a strainer under cold running water.

Running them under cold water is the way to go.

In a colander under cold water is fine, warm water makes them go a bit mushy and hot water will cook them. Enjoy!
