Atheists (and christians if you want) do you find it pretty cool that in the Qur'an it states that life came from water as science states?

Do not the unbelievers see that Allah created from water every living thing; will they not then believe. Anbiya 21:30

If you dont find that pretty interesting its ok but what are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that it's quite the coincidence. But that doesn't prove there is a god.

71:16 And hath made the moon a light therein, and made the sun a lamp

If I want to know about science, the qu'ran is the second last place I'd look (just above the bible). I'd rather read a scientific textbook or publication.

After gazing this my end is that he's mendacity approximately being an atheist. If he replaced into an atheist, he replaced into one that doesn't understand the fallacy of the God of the gaps. i do no longer comprehend any atheist who might say that there are in basic terms 2 opportunities for our modern: the 1st being God and the different the huge Bang. What quite handed off must be distinctive of distinctive different opportunities that we've not discovered yet. in basic terms somebody it is delusional because of the fact of religion might state such nonsense. it extremely is back to God of the gaps. additionally which God does this prepare, why the Christian God, except of direction he replaced into Christian ahead of analyzing this. additionally to me evolution is approximately animals evolving on earth, and he's talking approximately astronomy, perhaps i did no longer watch some distance adequate into the video as his argument replaced into so incorrect to start with. i finished after approximately 5 minutes because it replaced into certainly a bias video for faith for the justifications I mentioned.

I respect Islam and altruistic Muslims, however I find no great revelations in the science the Quran puts forth... it's too obtuse in declaration and therefore not that impressive.

BTW I studied this "scientific" angle for quite some time to try to find something to logically grab onto and was unable to find anything more specific and logical. I've studied Islam in some depth for many years.

I'm an atheist. Yes, it is interesting.

I wouldn't go as far as saying because the Qur'an is correct about one thing that it proves Allah's existence though.

Life isn't made out of water. Plus, is it really that much of a stretch to guess that creation myths would either choose earth, fire, air or water as the originator of life? I think not.

It was commonly believed at the time that this was so. This concept was part of the prevalent educated elite, and Muhammed would likely have been exposed to this idea. So how is its presence in the Qu'ran anything special?
