I don't feel I have to prove myself. I don't answer to anyone but God for my beliefs. Same with everyone else on here. As for being tired of explaining my beliefs to others: well, that was a directive in the Bible, and I am bound to do so. Do I get tired of being picked on? Realistically, sometimes, yes. But it is to be expected. As I said, I am not answerable to anyone on Yahoo for what I believe. And yes, atheists do seem always to ask the same questions, but I think that is because some questions are eternal. People have been debating the carnal versus the divine for eons, and the debate won't be settled here.

I just answer the questions that I feel are honest. I ignore those who just want to provoke.

However, I must give you an example that will illustrate my point of view regarding this question. One asker was trying to be a provocative and asked, "How do I find out God's plan for my life?" To which I gave the scripture from Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for good and not evil."
He wrote in his details that just as he read that, he found a small piece of paper that had the exact same scripture. All he could say was "weird". It's little things like this that might bring even the most hard -hearted to just consider the fact that God is alive and indeed has plans for their good.

No, I like to think of explaining my beliefs a golden opporunity to share with people what God wants me to.

Getting picked on is the Christian way of life. During Pauls lifetime he was beaten and flogged many times for his faith and eventually executed. Jesus teaches us the world is going to hate us for belief in him.

Yes we do hear the same Q's, it just means we get better at answering them.

We dont have to prove anything, that is Gods job. It is only our job to testify to the truth.

I do get tired of answering the exact same questions over and over again. Sometimes I wish I could just copy multiple answers so that when the same questions come up I could just paste the appropriate answer from the paste menu.

nope. What i do get tired of, are people who asked "loaded" and insulting questions without the desire to learn from the answers. Seems like there are a good number of people who frequent this site with no more intent than to insult others beliefs.

No - never ; because this is the great commission that Christ gave to us to go and make disciples of every nation; which is to say that it is our duty out of love for Christ and for our fellow man to tell everyone about the salavation and forgiveness that He offers freely through his work on the cross - He died for my sins so that He is my substitute for the punishments I deserve for the sins I have committed...and I am counted blameless in God's sight - otherwise I would get the penalty I deserve -

After a while I don't answer that question.
I think it has been explained at least 10000 times on Yahoo answers.
I don't have to prove anything to anyone.
Here I am, take it or leave it.

I have already been judged.
Found not guilty.
Righteous and sanctified.
On my way OLAY OLAY.

I never get tired of it. Actually, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormons). What amuses me is when people ask if we believe in God at all. We are extremely Christian, God is the focus of everything in our church. Just look at our name, no, its not Mormon, its the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love talking about my beliefs because I am so passionant about them. I live what I believe, and I love God. I'm never irritated or tired of helping others understand what I believe.

I don't have to prove myself to anyone but God. as for the questions, i rejoice, because it is an oppertunity to share the Lord's love with others. when it comes to being picked on, well, we knew that was coming, the Bible says that we will be persecuted, but that if it is in his name, then we should rejoice, for it is not for nothing. We will get our reward in heaven, which is greater than any reward here on earth.
