hi, i have a server, port and password. Is there some software that I can use so all i have to do is type the server address and port and password and play my videos, then the software streams it to that server???

just like nulsofts soutcast but instead of audio i want to stream audio and video for free. can anyone help??

VideoLAN will supposedly allow you to do that, but in my experience, while it will stream the video out, I have tons of problems connecting to it to view anything.

I hate to say it, but in this case Microsoft wins. If you have a Windows server, get the Windows Media Encoder.

You can either encode stuff for files, or stream stuff directly out from the program to be connected to remotely.

If you need to have a LOT of concurrent connections, you can integrate this with the Windows Server 2003 to make a more robust multi-connect schema.
