The use of a beta blocker such as propanalol for performance anxiety is controversial. Personally, I like it better than Xanax which might be restricted in competition.

I found that certain food containing tyramines made me more nervous. My heart would pound after eating peanut butter or aged cheeses and chocolate.

The best natural thing for you would be sleepy time tea, just carry that around in a mug and it will settle your nerves and any extra adrenaline your body may be pumping! I don't reccomend taking pills if you shoot competition guns a lot... You could come dependant on them or put your body at risk for some serious side effects, long term AND short term (like stomach problems, liver problems etc...)

There is a legal drug called purple salvia, it calms you but dont take to much or it will make you sleepy just like weed does. But it's similar to marjiuana and it will make you more alert of what you are doing. I took it just before i went to school and it helped me out. You can buy it at a tobacco store. Please watch how you take it though. There is two kinds actually. The kind you smoke and the kind you take. You should get the kind you smoke because it limits your amount
