So I went to Dairy queen to ask that girl i like out and TOTAL FAILURE! Ocurred.?

Question

I had finaly mustered up enough balls to go ask the girl out at dairy queen that i like.The game plan was simple.

1.order somthing
2.tell jokes
3.ask here out.
That didnt happen.

so i got into dairy queen and the girl at the counter wasnt her.It was some other girl. and i had asked her wheres tiffiny?.The girl at the register had told me that tiff had gone to lunch and that she was covering her shift.So i decieded ill just goto to the bathroom first then wait outside for half-hour for her to come back.
So im on my way to the bathroom and in the hallway I see HER!.....I forgot my lines.My legs instantly turned to rubber and i broke an instense sweat.I wasnt pre-pared to talk to her.

Me:how come your not working?
Tiff:cause im on break.I dont go back for 20 more minutes
Tiff:omg are you ok? you look flustered?
~im busted~
Me:iiii jusst nee ee ed onee of thh ose special smoothies you mmmake.
Her:sure ill go make you one.(Eevn tho she was on break)

I buy the smootie and run away.

awww you poor thing! Ok, I like your game plan, but I don't know if thats the best way to ask her out. Unlike you men the best way to a girl's heart is not through her stomach >.< just kidding. Do something romantic, I mean don't go insane and sing "Bad Day" at the top of your voice or anything! What would make me think that you think of me would be...hmmm well since she works at Dairy Queen, take one of the dairy queen cups and put a rose where the straw is supposed to be, put a simple "will you go out with me?" note in the cup, you can even go farther put in some poetry or something! hope ive been helpful or you've read all this for no reason! :) Also if you still cant go near her without your legs turning to rubber, go on her lunch break and hand it to one of the ladies behind the counter and tell them to give it to her. A little tip might persuade them to do it too if you play your cards right! ;-)

ouch dude.... . You plan sounds good, but get to know her a bit first. be her friend, make her laugh, get her to know you(and vise-versa) and when the time comes, You'll have yourself a lady! lol.

Don't worry, you're not the only guy whose screwed up. I stepped on my crush's foot once. and another time(same girl) i was gonna ask her something so i took 3 steps toward her, freaked out, then turned around and walk away. When i finally asked her out, she said no and i said alright and walked away.

and another time, i got my friend(who i might like as more than friend) a CD 4 her B-day.i was gonna just give it to her but i took it out, offered it to some other people then gave it to her. She said"you don't want it?"
Me- uh, no not really. Happy Late B-day tho!
she liked it alot but i felt like the least smooth guy on earth.


(that is pretty funny story tho, if u don't mind me saying)

PS, don't try poetry/love notes. it doesn't work for most girls. they think it's corny or weird.

Honestly, don't listen to people who say thats sad, because it's not!! I know alot of guys including myself, who had tough time talking to girls when we were younger. You have to start somewhere, might as well be with her. Good luck!!

You should have canceled the plan as soon as you discovered she wasn't there!

You're making this too complicated. That's why your plan will always fail.

Ask her to come over to your house to watch American Idol or House or 24, or to check out your iTunes collection. Now that you're on familiar territory, just tell her!

Or, keep seeing her and build the level of intimacy to the point where it gets to the point that you're going out. You don't even have to say the words --let your actions and time spent together speak for themselves.

That is a funny story for sure. well i think your OK . she went and made you a smoothie thing and she isn't stupid she can see your almost fainting talking to her . she is aware you like her a great deal . she is most likely writing this in her diary . and then in the next sentence writing i wonder when he will try again.
remember girl are humans to . if you ask them out and they don't want to go on a date with you they don't really spew acid on you then eat you .

Well the good news is she talks to you and she was willing to make you a smoothie while on break, so at the very least she likes you as a friend. Give it another shot. Relax before you go back and when planning, give yourself a little wiggle room in case you freeze up. You can do it.

i think your original plan is a good one. go back and try it again. and while you're cracking your jokes and about to ask her out- just tell her the last time you came in you got a little nervous, but this time you were wondering if she would like to see a movie or go to dinner some time... and that the smoothie she made you last time was delicious.
