Maybe cause the hott ones are the ones who want to be just friends...

When I was in high school I would crush on a guy and as soon as he liked me I didn't like him anymore....very strange and I cannot even explain it today.

My daughter wonders the same thing. Recently the cutest guy in the school, who she never met, was after her and she was very turned off because he kept following her and showing up at her classes and stuff. She really gets turned off when she knows a guy likes her. She likes it better when they are subtle and cool about it and they talk for a while and get to be friends, then she finds out that he likes her..... maybe that is you too. You like the guys that you are friends with because you get to know them, but the guys that like you, you may not know as well.

My advice is that eventually it will workout. It takes knowing a lot of guys to find the right match. It will be a friend when you least expect it. That is the best way anyway. Just be patient and prince charming will sweep you off your feet one day.

Maybe because the one's that like you are probably looking to start a relationship and that's not something that you are looking for right now. You may just want to hang out and have fun without the commitment. This way, it's easier for you to have something with no strings or feelings attached. You already have it set in your mind that these guys are just friend material so then you would not treat the relationship as nothing more than a casual hook up. Something to think about.

Because your not thinking right. It's very common with females now a days. You 'think' that you only want one type of thing and won't like anything else. So unless you get that, you won't be happy. It's not true, but you will never believe that.

There is not much you can do to break the cycle....other then crash and burn, several times. Then you might have the courage to try something.

because sometimes, it's more interesting to try to attract guys that don't like you. also, you might not know about the guys that "just want to be friends", so you don't really know much about them and you think they are really nice and stuff, when they are not. you should become friends first anyways with guys, it builds a stronger relationship.

I don't know but it's COMMON.

This personality type generally stays unhappy.

Perhaps you're setting your standards too high - looking for perfection in every area.

Try getting to know the guys who actually pursue you.

that's just life. but one day, the right person will like u. but just don't go out with the guys who like u if you don't like them, just to have a boyfriend. yeah, i did, and its a bad idea. find new guys.

u want what you cant have, and when you have them, you dont want them... unless theyre in control, you dont want the easy stuff, imagine if a guy you really like falls in love with you and carries your books, stares at you all the time, tells you ur always pretty, and calls you nonstop..... would you still like him?
