Well, it is a fact that breast of nipple damage--when a woman is feeding, can inhibit milk let down--thus, it can potentially lead to mastitis---which can lead to scaring of glands and internal tissue inside the breast....this can potentially lead to cysts--lumps in the breast...and over time, cysts can potentially become cancerous. Although, I have not come across a scientific longitudinal study in regard to this. So, as far as I'm concerned, unless there is a study to refer to, there is no proof in either direction.
Anything that is done to your breasts by an infant or toddler...and it hurts?...put the child down and walk away. You can also catch the little hand that is punching you...look the child in the eye and say no. If they continue, put the child down and walk away. You can come back later and try to feed again...if they continue to abuse you, its time to wean. Biting is also a sign that its time to start weaning.

What? No. The causes of breast cancer are not fully understood, but they are mostly genetic and hormonal. Not being bitten.
Almost every woman who nurses a baby will be bit sometime, and it's not going to give them breast cancer.
