Yup, I'm cool with it. If they didn't want his opinion then they shouldn't have asked the question.

You are completely off base by suggesting that General Pace owes these morally corrupt and illegal homosexuals any kind of apology. If anything, these slithering predators should do the honorable thing and out themselves, because once they are discovered, their lives aren't worth a shiit, anyway !
You can't imagine how much these people are hated, in the military. Or, how demoralizing it is for a unit to suspect one of their own as being a homosexual.
The idea of homosexuals permeating our military services is probably one of the biggest deterrents to recruitment. The idea that a lesbian or homosexual can have power and authority over a new recruit has got to be one of the biggest fears a new recruit can have.
General Pace is right, and I believe we should keep the heat on, to finally rid our services of this ugly blight !

Gen. Pace has earned his right to his opinions. He owes no one an apology. Why should normal male military personnel have to shower /use same toilets with homosexuals? If if it's okay for homos to stare at and lust after other men, why shouldn't the women in the military shower/ use the same toilets as the men. You know that would not work, but you want a double standard for "gays". "Gays" join the military just to be in close quarters with other men. Homosexuals are immoral, they do not belong in the military. It does cause bad moral and disunity within the unit. Stick to doing hair.

Well, using the word "moral" was your first mistake. Now, you've ruined your credibility.
Your second mistake is judging what is not your concern, unless of course, you are gay. Then I suppose you could feel righteous in posing your question here and somehow feel a little satisfaction in exposing someone as a human being.
Let's see. How could putting this question here benefit you? Are you trying to garner sympathy for yourself, or are you trying to see how many people are on your side? That would make you feel better, now wouldn't it?
Is the issue that it was a general who uttered it? Or, is it that you heard it and now its an issue?
Gay or not, people who do their duty DO make mistakes. Those who don't do their duty, stay home with mommy.

Right or wrong, Gen. Pace simply restated the official stance on gay and lesbians serving in the military. That such acts are incompatible with serving. So, he did nothing wrong.

He is allowed to have any opinion he wants to have, it is not an insult, it is his opinion. His beliefs however cannot undermine his duty to his country and they have not. So, if a gay troop is offended by this, too bad. Don't ask, don't tell is still the policy. There are laws and military guidelines that dictate heterosexual behavior too, you don't hear heterosexuals demanding apologies for policy or opinions do you.

No less moral than for you, who have probably never served in the military a day in your life, to sit back in your comfortable house and blast him for having the balls to voice his opinion. You, who so easily takes advantage of the freedom that this man has devoted his life to defending for you...talk about ingratitude!
He's entitled to his opinion just as you are, and if that opinion makes anyone mad or hurts their wittle feelings, then I guess they're just gonna have to get over it.

No,
He was just expressing his opinion.
Perhaps he is as offended by their presence in the military as they are by his comment. Should they appologize to him?
No one has a right NOT to be offended.
The first weeks spent in any military is composed of a constant barrage of insults. Of course it is moral for a commanding officer to insult his troops as long as he praises or honors them when honor is deserved.

General Pace was not always sitting in an office retard, he is a highly decorated marine.
AND no, he should not apologize for saying that homos don't belong in the military.
Bottom line is they don't belong in the military, it is not good for unit cohesion.
Obviously you were never in the front lines or you would understand his position.

He insulted no one, he said he had a personal opinion that homsexual acts were immoral, the same as adulterous acts are immoral. Are you asking him to apogize to all those who have screwed off on their wives, or husbands?
