HEY! this is like the perfect question for me to answer, because i think i can actually answer this one well:)...In my health class we are learning about this. The front part of your brain is called the Amglandala...This is the part of your brain that controls anger. Throughout the teenage years this part is is enlarged, and over powers the Cerebral Cortex(the part of your brain that controls common sence) . So when a teenager gets angry the amgadala gets bigger and bigger and bigger, and basically completely drowns out the common scence part. This anger portion of your brain is even bigger in teenage boys. Soo theres y...there actually is a scientific reason...I just learned that today in my class...I hope that this helps you understand....I'm only fifteen and am glad to say that my abglandala is "small in size"..Have a good day!..Steph...oh and hormones add to the problem, but arent a major cause for the anger..

Their bodies still have volatile hormones that respond quickly, sometimes negatively, when their self preservation gets threatened
For instance a teenager yells at the teacher for not letting him sit with the "cool" people because he/she feels that by not sitting with the cool crowd he might not be liked, then have no friends, no recognition, die a slow horrible death, e.t.c (ok the death part was a joke), but you get the point.

Many are frustrated because they cannot do the things they think they want to do. The hormones in their bodies are raging out of control, and they don't feel comfortable about themselves; not quite adults but not children. In other words, THEY GO CRAZY DURING THIS TIME IN THEIR LIVES..

It is because you are too lazy and too stupid to go out and find something to do that does not make you mad. You and your little mainacs need to take a page from the old days. Go play kick the can, play with hula-hoops, go for a swim in a sewage canal.

Its hormones. Its also just a part of growing up. You think you're grown, dont want to object to authority, want to date, go out and have parties when you want, its all normal. Its a hard time in life though..so just watch out and make good choices

there was a bulletin about that the other day on the main page of yahoo. it is because we have an overdose of hormones. it is weird and hard for me to explain but it is like there is this hormone that is supposed to calm us and make us think rationally but instead it doesnt on teens and i dont remember why!!

one answer hormones hormones hormones see teenagers usaully fight a lot because they are not in complete control of their imotions so they either think they have to be right or they are trying to hide that they are wrong so this usaully leads to a fight but don't worry they can have their good moments so stick in there.

Life gets tough as you get older and it's hard for teens. They get mad about things that are around them like when they're parents get them angry, they're friends, school, relationships, etc. It's stress and it's hard for them.
