have you ever noticed that you can always tell who is a JW just by how long thier answer is and the way its structured. That sure is a lot of cutting and pasting to do!

well actually i used to be a jehovahs witness so i know all the answers you gonna give before i even read them..therefore i skip them. anyway, i guess you all really love that whole Watchtower CD thing- you dont actually have to type your own opinions and thoughts...anyway.....

give your definition of apostate. i used to be jehovahs witness. I left due to personal reasons. I was never babtized, or any of that stuff. and so therefore you are breaking your religions rules by speaking to me. even online!

hey psychopath, do you see jehovah's witnesses carrying their laptops when they go door to door to use their watchtower cd rom to answer questions? NO! NOT! I don't thinks so! and so what if they use their watchtower library to answer questions posted on Q&A? ya'll just jealous because the Watchtower Society made it easier for their members to do research on bible base questions. i'm not a jehovah's witness but i do respect them for who they are. they gave shelter, food, and clean clothes for my mom who was in NY on 9/11. She ran right across the Brooklyn bridge and found the Watctower building. Seeing that people where running towards it, she followed them. She went inside and found so many people who were covered in dust and practically going out of their minds.... being assisted and comforted by jehovah's witnesses!!! So back off!!! ya'll criticize this group as if they have done nothing but evil when all they have done is make this world a better place to live....

And you don't think most Christians do the same thing, especially anti-witness comments. I've been hearing the same old arguments for 30 years. As for myself, I write all my own stuff, though I do save it to WordPerfect, as the same old questions keep being repeated here, more cut and paste. This question was presented, in a different format, but the same question, three weeks or so ago.

So, if you use to be an ex-witness, what congregation were you with? I was disfellowshipped from the Corning, CA Congregation in 1982.

if you were not baptized, your were not disfellowshipped. you disassociated yourself, so a different set of rules apply. also, they are not forbidden from talking to us, just not about bible matters. My mechanic and a fellow cab driver are both witnesses and know I'm disfellowship, though neither knew in the beginning. I knew both were by the way the talk. No use of slangs or foul language, even when he dropped a tire on his foot.
***************************
And yes, I do get long winded. Use to drive my school teachers and the elders crazy.

Five hundred word book report on one of the classics? Sorry, I thought you said 500 pages.

Excuse me but I only learned how to CandP a couple months ago and so far have only CandP about 3 sentences over the course of several answers. Do not lump everyone into one boat. Just as not everyone who answers on Witnesses is one, or at times, knows ANYTHING about our beliefs.

We are ALL individuals. Read some of my answers. They are ALL tailored to the questions. I am not the only one who answers like this.

In answer to what I think about long, often nonhelpful, CandPs I think it is a bad habbit. It sets a bad principle.

haha suggestion
try other tactics that r more amusing
im not sure if its copy and pasting or pure study groups
they are very religious people at least in my opinion
they study with everything they got then they go preaching door to door ive got great admiration for the people who gets doors slammed in their faces and still trust in god
they dont get paid to do what they do so be nice.
how many people actually get off their butts and preach the gospel on a regular basis. get real
and im not a jehov either

yes i have noticed that jehovah's witnesses answers are longer. maybe its because we put a lot of thought into our answers, not like some people who just write, sure, yea, i dont know. and yes we do A LOT of copying and pasting, from our BRAIN. we have a lot of bible based knowledge and we copy it from our braijn and paste it on the computer so u too can learn about the truth.!!!!

A person who was never baptized cannot be said to have ever enjoyed fellowship "in the Lord" with the congregation. If such a person discontinues his association with Jehovah's Witnesses, he is just as a person of the world.

There is no particular need to avoid friendship with the person, if he remains respectful of the truth.

If u was a Jwitness. I feel bad for u now that u r not. Because u knew the truth and denied it. But anywho.....U must be apostate. Because u would know that we understand the bible, and we take knowledge from the bible unlike these so called "christians" today.
Just because we know more of what the bible is saying doesn't mean we are just copying it.

wow.

I'm in the exact same situation as you!
Yes, it's because they have to get you reeled back in.
Thats why the talks are two hours long.
AND why they have to have a million answers to ONE QUESTION in the watchtower.
Hey, anything for hours right?

And people who aren't baptized can be JW's, just not the most looked up to, I guess you can say.
I'm still forced to go until I turn 18 next year, so I still know how it is at least in this part of the US.

When you have been brainwashed you have no personal thoughts, views or Ideas so the only alternative is to cut and paste the garbage that you have been programmed with....

the JWs have a very efficient washing machine but it only has ONE programme....
