The creator should be an it. I think so because God does not have a physical form. Jesus is supposedly the son of God but thats unprovable. People assume God is a guy because our world is dominated by man.

He is neither because He is not human. We however call God A He or Father because back in the early days of christianity males were seen as the dominant gender. If God had used a feminine form it was less likely people would follow His teachings, besides calling God an IT seems disrespectful.

God is a spirit.
It doesn't make sense to call him male or female... he created both men and women "in his image" so God is bigger than the concepts of male and female and includes both.
The bible uses both male and female metaphors and terms for God at various times.

In the Jewish tradition, which is where the Christian conception originated, God has no genitalia and therefore is neither male or female. A preference for masculine pronouns was only because the feminine pronouns were lacking in certain situations and it was often easier. God is most often seen as the coming together of both the masculine and feminine divine.

The Christian would pray like Jesus told us to Pray, "Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hollowed be thy name...". The Name is Holy Heavenly Father. This is the God of Jesus Christ and Christians. A nurturing Father. Read the http://www.fathersloveletter.com .
My sister n law thinks God is a mother or genderless. Jesus came from heaven to earth. He prayed Heavenly Father (Holy Father in Heaven). Jesus Christ has seen the Father, is one with the Father & Holy Spirit. So, Jesus should know. And I believe the Holy Spirit is genderless. God is Elohim, the Father, Word & Holy Spirit. The Father & Son is male and the Holy Spirit is genderless. Israel is the Mother (Mary).
Through out the bible God is considered a Nurturing Father. Jesus Christ Himself is a male.
Also, I have prayed to Father God about calling Him my Mother God, and He doesn't want me to do that. But I can call Him a Nurturing Father.

God is a spirit, neither male nor female.
Most of the time, God is considered a Male, because to our society thinks males are supperior to women, and they thought that even before christ was born.. thats why they conside God more as a he.. but thats wrong. God is neither a he nor she

Neither. But the Bible overwhelmingly refers to God in a masculine way. For instance, Jesus called him his Father and not his mother. But that doesnt mean that God is male because that would imply that he is human, he is not.

God or heavenly father is male. But what is man without woman? So I think I have a heavenly mother too.
