When I run and I'm at the point when I'm tired and want to stop I try to get my mind off the running by thinking of something else, but sometime that doesn't work. What do you think about?

I think about how much more satisfied I'd be with myself if I just run those few more minutes. I think about the accomplishment I will have deserved after the mile is over. And then I go think about ordering a pizza when I get home :-)

well when your running you just think about anything
if its your boyfriend or a boy you like
um your job
school work/homework almost anything that will keep your mind off of running i mean its a hard thing to run i did cross country which was 2 miles and i was soooo tired of running but i just got use to it and just thought of something else
you might have to set a limit for yourself though if your body really wants you to stop running you should, because you dont want to over do yourself just take it easy and start at a slow pace at first
pace yourself the whole time! hope this was help!

Its OK to change your excercise. I taught Physical Education for a while, and when I went into the classroom I noticed the lack of excercise. That's when I discovered yoga. Yoga has changed my life. I've also done Tai Chi. Experiment a little, you may be burned out on running, but try something else. Don't run every day, do something different.

when ever i get too tired and i want to quit i give myself 2 more minutes but I up the pace...I just keep counting down on when I get to rest and think of that as a reward for the hard work I just did. Plus this helps (taking a little rest) to go further/longer because you get time to recover and you get your "2nd wind".

I think of how glad I am that I'm not married to an idiot any more. How much better I am without him dragging me down. How fit I am for taking time to run. How he'll never get to take that from me. Yeah me!! Good Luck!

Think about Roseanne Barr, or Rosie O'Donnell, and remind yourself that you will look like that if you stop.

I think about how much it'd hurt if the dog chasing me caught up, and run faster.

Running is harmful to organs and ligaments.

Why run?

Brisk walking is much safer, fun and healthful.

Exercise, if not enjoyable...is foolish, and will not be sustained as you age. PROOF: old people never run.

Get into the wise part of ambulation, girl...WALK, DON'T RUN to the best body for you!
