Islam is the largest growing religion in the world, in the west and in the United States.
Women and African Americans with also a surging Latino population are the ones with highest conversion rates.
Why?
Because they here all the garbage online and on tv about Islam and then they learn the truth and the beauty of Islam.
The treatment of women in the west is disgusting especially since they don't even see why it's bad!
Have some respect for yourself.

I didnt really know that so many women in the West were converting to Islam, but it is, after all, the newest religion, and has been the fastest growing one for a long time now (Before middle east was even and issue). Probably people are converting to Islam as a sort of challenge. They are making a point of excersizing their freedom of religion, in countries who are supposed to accept and celebrate diversity, in a time when so many idiots live in a fantasy of being in a holy war against Islam.

I have talked to few converts and they had given alomost the same answer that they found it more logical and convincing as compared to other religions they have made research on islam and then embraced it !! they are not forced thats for sure..because i know few christains ladies who are married to muslim men and they are following their own religion and have respect for their men telling they never forced them to convert........thats some veyr wrong concept about islam in west that women are forced to convert while we believe there is no compulsion in islam...!

Oh I think that you're wrong, the ones that do convert ARE looking for that perfect husband.
I know quite a few women, me being one and I see none of us converting to Islam. I would NEVER convert to Islam, why, because Jesus Christ IS my Lord and savior.
And for all the Western women bashers and haters out there NO, we all aren't beaten and abused. NO, we all have NOT been raped and taken advantage of.
YES, many, many of us, I being one, are happily living here in this wretched (guffaw) western culture (that many Muslims are breaking their necks to get to)not living up to the stereotypes you want to put upon us.
If those women in the west who know of the Lord yet, turn their backs on him and convert to Islam, that's their business. Just don't try to stereotype the rest of us to justify your decisions.

I think it's because, believe it or not, and contrary to what people think, Islam gives women their dignity and respect, both virtues which have slowly deteriorated in the West over the past few decades.
I think it's more a "Man's World" in the West than many people want to admit. The female body is exploited in everything, from advertisement to movies, from dance and music to porn, it seems to me like female honor and dignity is eroding relatively fast...

Because Islam is a religion good at the brainwashing, just like Christianity. But Islam still has a sense of a real dedication to Allah, While Christians have long since tempered God.
