Hairstyles for round faces and short necks..?

I need advice on a hairstyle....i have a round face and a short neck...YUCK..and ive been growing my hair, thinking it would make my face thinner...BUT it looks so boring. Any ideas on a cute hairstyle??

If you feel you have a short neck, wear v-neck tees or wear blouses w/ collars open. Avoid wearing chokers & long, thin, dangling earrings. Also avoid turtle necks and mock necks.

First of all if you have a round face you should stay away from full bangs. You should go with a medium length and get some face framing layers.

The most flattering face shape is oval...so whatever hairstyle you have, it has to make your face appear oval...it doesn't matter what length your hair is, just make sure that you always have layers that start just below your jawbone towards your face...you want to cover the sides of your face (or cheeks) by shaping them w/your hair...and unless you have a large forehead, you don't want to wear bangs, wear your hair away from your forehead because you want to create the look of length

Something with more volume on top, with less weight and volume on the ends maybe.
