There been alot of recalls on different brands of peanut butter. I recently took my dog in for a problem he was having, and the vet prescribed pills,. I needed to give him. We asked her if we could use peanut butter to give him his pill with, and she said, since the recall of peanut butter, to stay away from it all together, until they have the problem solved.

Yes! My dogs love peanut butter, but don't care what brand it is. I feed them peanut butter scooped up on an apple, or on a cracker.

Peanut butter is okay for dogs in small amounts. I use it to seal off the end of my pups' Kongs. Be careful, because too much can cause them to choke--just like humans.

Also, make sure you don't give them the tainted kind!!! :)

Of course you can feed your dog peanut butter the vet feeds it to our dog all the time. Dogs look really funny when their mouths are stuck!! I wouldn't give it to your dog to much!!!!

Yes, I put my dogs pill in peanut butter, otherwise I have to fight with him to take it.

Sure you can. My yellow lab loves it. Only give a small amount as it sticks to the roofs of their mouths also. It is funny to watch them eat it.
