I live in southern New York. I have such great friends. I'm starting a band, we just have to get some equipment. I live in the center of a village, with everything you could want so close by.

But my mom has plans to move north, to Albany. And just an hour ago I found out she's starting a new job on Monday, IN ALBANY!! OMFG If we move I am definately going to commit suicide. Please, how can I stop this madness!!????????

Uh, well depending on how old you are, you might want to just choose to stay behind and get your own place. But if you're too young, believe me it's not the end of the world. Your mother is not doing this deliberately to hurt you, to the contrary, she has a better opportunity coming up for the both of you. You should support your mother, you'll be proud that you stepped up to be supportive in the long run. Just don't be so fatal...life isn't always about what you WANT sometimes you have to do stuff because you HAVE to. And that's one of life's lessons.

I feel sorry for you people that live up north. I live in the south and I wore shorts to school today. Well, anyway, you can't stop your mom from moving. You can give her your impute, but don't give her a hard time. Just explain to her how much you love New York. Believe it or not, your mom probably has a good reason she wants to move.
And for the suicide thing, "Make every decision count. You won't always get a second chance."
I don't care if you don't agree with me. But think about it. Believe me. I have been in your position. My parents have moved me 9 times and I am 13 years old. You will make new friends, and you can even start a new band!

Well that really sucks. She is starting a new job on MONDAY! She couldn't have given you a little more notice?

Is there a possibility that you could stay with a friend's family while you are in school? Do you have an aunt or someone you could stay with? Try to find out about other options.

We moved many times when I was in school. IT was awful. I got used to it, but it was still awful leaving everyone.

Good luck to you.

If you think about it it could be good for you its always good to change your routine and you could save up money so every summer you could go back to your old home and visit. as far as the band goes i think you wil find some people that you will start a diffrent on with. hope it helps. trust me youll get through it. i did!

well it all depends on how old you are.are you still in high school? are you out of school but not working and your mom is supporting you?if you are still in school and doing good there possibly your mom would allow you to stay with another family member in your present home or you could stay with a friend.but if you are an adult mooching off mom its time to grow up jr.,get a job get a place and take care of yourself.your mom does not have to support you for life and she deserves to do what makes her happy.
