What is the oldest "official" Muslim country?

As in when did Western powers stop colonizing and bombing them so they could become a country

There is currently no Muslim state, but as for borders and government Egypt or Iran are the oldest I think.

I'm sure that Egypt has to be the oldest one. If you look at Biblical history, Egypt was around at the time of Abraham, and a lot of people on this country later adopted the Muslim faith.

Egypt isn't officially a muslim country. I think Saudi Arabia is the first officially muslim country.
