it says to call with code 1121. I called and was told I was scheduled to have a letter sent March 26!? Why dont they tell me anything over the phone about whats going on? What is going on?

It sounds like your return is under review. That has happened to several other people on here even after being given a deposit date. They will send you a notice and let you know exactly what is going on---sounds like they are not mailing the notice until the end of March. I would call back and talk to another IRS agent and see if you can get some more information. Of the several that I know that have received that code, they have eventually received their refunds, but not until several weeks later than thier original expected date.

If the IRS toll free number can't tell you what the code means, NO ONE can. My bet is the code says nothing about your refund other than that the IRS computer is confused.
