im 16 and a junior. i just want to know how i can tell if a guy likes me. some are obvious others you can never read. i just really want a guys input because girls really don't know.

There are so many ways a guy can express interest in a girl he likes...
Making eye contact
Finding reasons to talk to you
Sitting near you
Smiling at you
The list goes on forever, that is what makes attraction unique, you can never quite define everything. What you would think one person would do, another wouldn't.
The best way is to get to know him, hang around him some, nothing serious, and see how he makes you feel.
If he makes you feel like you are the only girl around, and that what you think matters to him, then those would be good indicators also.

tell him you like him and go from there. why do guys always be the 1st to ask, we already have to do everything else 1st so maybe girls should take over one of those many things. plus in highschool if a girl shuts down a guy the girl will tell everyone about it, most guys dont want any part of that. if a guy shuts down a girl, thats pretty much always the end of it. guys dont spread news like that to the whole school, they just answer you and thats the end.

Some guys just plain hide it until they ask you out, or not. Other will just give you the "stare," like you'll be talking to him and instead of responding he just stares at you. It could be a lot of different things, so many that I couldn't type it all. Everyones different and I guess you just have to wait and see.

yeah its kind of hard.
guys are killers at giving mixed signals.
just go with the flow. flirt with him and if he flirts back either he just a manho or hes intrested.
give it time and see how it progresses.
