If you do, how do you format it? Can you look at and print one recipe at a time?
I haven't used Excel very much, so if you can tell me in detail how to make it work as a recipe organizer it would be very helpful.

I guess its possible to do so...but it seems like it would be kind of difficult....You could probably list the names of the recipes and hyperlink those names to the actual recipes which would be typed out in another document. Excel spreadsheets are used to organize data like.....Recipe Name, Type (cookies, breads, drinks, main courses, etc.) and then you can sort them accordingly. But, like I said, the hyperlink idea is probably the best one if you are going to use excel. Feel free to email me if you choose this method and I can try to help explain it better.

I use Excel for all kinds of things, but not for recipes. I have a software called MasterCook that lets me put in my recipes and can calculate the nutritional value and calories too. It's an old program, but surely they have updated it since the version I have. I love it and it didn't cost very much. It will even make up a shopping list based on the recipe ingredients.
