I think it can help with slang and there are allot of misspelling but you need to always double check something you learn. I think the exposure is good and there are allot of people correcting one another on this site. Good luck

I'm not sure "answer" will help you speak english better. reading something in english, writing in english, and speaking in english are all different things. it takes a hell lot more that reading something in english to help you speak english better, especially since a lot of the answers you'll find are not gramatically correct.
