Text books? Which ones? Math, science, history, etc.? Math is pretty straight forward and without question. Science? Some areas hotly debated, other areas not so much. We are always learning and adding/revising information. Admitting that we don't know everything eliminates limits on our mind. History? History portrayed in books isn't always accurate, but they're close. History books are clouded with opinions that are built up over time. So lies? Not really, depends on which textbooks you are talking about.
Were you really looking for an answer or just someone who agrees with you?

There aren't. There may be occasional mistakes, especially in older ones, but any textbook on scientific matters, written by somebody who has done science and knows about it, will correctly represent the current knowedge of the art. A scientific theory becomes established when people routinely use it to make predictions, because the answers turn out to be correct. Such is the case with scientific theories relating to astronomy, chemistry, physics, biology, and many other disciplines, including, of course, the theory of evolution -- which, unlike most other scientific theories, can be proven, and I have done so. Text books, at least history text books, are not actually written by historians. They are written by the companies trying to sell their books.
I would suggest reading "Lies My Teacher Told Me." It is an excellent book, filled with information and sources.
edit: I don't know anything about the science textbooks, if you're not referring to evolution. My psychology textbook is full of references. Physics and chemistry are basically math; either they work or they don't. What exactly do you mean?

There aren't. The lies are being told to you by the people around you. Whoever told you that texbooks lie to you has very particular reasons for telling you that, and it usually has to do with trying to convince you of something that they very badly want you to believe. Religious people do this often. Textbooks are written by professionals who have no reason to lie. If they say something incorrect in a textbook, that book doesnt get published and they don't get paid. It's pretty simple. Get smart, dude.

Which textbooks? College? High School?
History revisionism has become common place. Also, there is big money in textbook creation. So there tends to be "under the table" influences to gain the contract. Most of these have either money, or political agendas tied to them.

because what we know as facts are relative. understand that when we thought there were only 9 planets in this solar system, we relied on what we thought were the best equipments at that time. facts changes as new discoveries emerge.
only the Bible is true and timeless. the best selling book ever.

Because the evolutionists don't have anything to support theirt theory with except these lies.... They have to make their own evidence to support their theory... Rather sad, I was hoping they would have gotten rid of this theory by now.... Oh Well

Yeah I know! The Theory of Gravity is a total lie! Everyone knows that God is the one holding us down, not gravity!
The earth is definately flat despite all the evidence saying it is round. Why is the earth flat? Because a fictional book says so!
