grrr i think the main reason is because of the lzx32.sys.....it is a virus and it is VERY hard to find and remove
http://www.greatis.com/security/Rustock(lzx32.sys)_free_removal_tool.htm
i just have to remove it and then see if my computer is back to normal.
thank you all for your help.

Boot into your BIOS, it may be a combination of keys but its usually Ctrl-F1 or the DELETE(DEL) Key, when your PC is first turned on, keep pressing the DEL key (or other key(s)) and when into the BIOS move the highlighted text to
LOAD FAIL-SAFE DEFAULTS or something similar to this, then save changes and exit.
If this doesn't help, try unplugging everything on your PC apart from the keyboard, mouse and monitor, if it works, add all the cables again one by one, checking inbetween for the problem to return, if it does, you'll know something you've plugged in is faulty.
Otherwise, its likely to be a major fault in one of your PC components, most likely the RAM, if you know much about internal PC components, try removing one of the RAM sticks if there is more than one and trying to fault find that way.
Good Luck!

Hi angela, Do you have a norton system work's and virus software on your computer? If not, go get one, then run the fixit program, this will usually fix windows problems, or you can get the windows disk that came witht he computer close all other open windows programs, put the disk into the computer, restart computer, it will load into the recovery of windows, do a complete windows recovery or you can choose which program to repair. Good luck hun Hope this works for you Mez

OK see if this helps. Restart the computer and when it starts to come on BEFORE the windows starts hit the F8 key. Keep hitting it till it opens in dos. Now set it to the the last best known configuration (or something close to that wording) Hope this helps!
So glad that you found the solution. Now how can we give you best answer??? It is nice to be able to fix something.

Could well be a corrupt driver, if it starts OK in safe mode then it's a driver for sure. Then you just need to re-install your drivers while your in safe mode

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
