I Cor 13 :1
"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal"

You need the whole passage from chapters 12-14 at least to fully appreciate the context.

'Speaking in tongues' is a completely apocryphal concept. The only people to speak in tongues intrabiblically were the apostles in Acts. And when they did it, it was in comprehensible foreign languages designed to give them the ability to proselytize worldwide, not just babble speak.
