that is so sad! really it is.. you should pray for him and talk to him about it. I think he will feel better if he knows there is someone there for him.. I know I would.
[Ps. dont dump him... he must really like you if he told you this]

come on guys, little respect here, do you not remember what it was like to be young and in love. So this may not be "the one" for her, but who knows, stranger things have been known to happen.
Even if he's not the one, he's the one right now and he's hurting and needs someone to be there for him. Thats my advice to you hun, be there for him when he needs you, convince him (if possible) to confide in someone of authority who you both trust (teacher, parent, whoever) remember - we can all choose our friends, but our families will always be there and if he's are mistreating him, even just with threats, then he needs good friends and good support. Be there for him and help him find the help he needs. It'll be hard for both of you and you may fall out from time to time over it, but in the long run he'll thank you for it

be supportive, listen to him when he talks about these things, and help him to find support from other adults if that's what he needs. Also remember to take care of yourself, that means don't let his problems interfere with your relationships with other friends, school, decisions you make, etc.
most of all, let him know you care . good luck!

dont try to turn him against his family, however show him that he has your support and that his family are probably turning on him to release their anger.
