Well Christianity is really no different. Dont they want to make most countries all Christians as Islam wants to make Islamic?Arent fanatic Christians wanting to put blasphemers and homosexuals to death? Your question should be, isnt most religions terrorfying and how could we stop it(not just Islam). Thats sort of bias to only claim Islam is scary.

Islam isn't a terrifying religion. But I do believe people are afraid of the repercussions of their actions and don't wish to take responsibility for them. Islam doesn't play that. You do something wrong, you might get punished, if Allah (SWT) wills it. Personally, I'd rather get jacked up on Earth instead of on Judgment Day. Islam has been perfected by Allah (SWT), so it can't be made better.

Ishmealites , which is the modern day Arabs are centered around this particular belief. The Bible describes Ishmealites, which is one of the sons of Abraham, as a wild man. They will be sort of hazardous to us and themselves. This may give some insight on why they threaten to blow everyone and themselves up. Read Genesis 16: 12
