Was with my boyfriend for 6 month, the relationship got really bad and i knew it would end any day, and he ended it 3 weeks ago, said he did not fancy me anymore like he used to. i tried to contact him a few times but it ended up bitter, i pulled myself together and 3 weeks on im on the mend lol, until today, i woke up and just decided to drive to where i knew he would be, to be honest im going away to work and i wanted to see him so we could not be bitter towards each other and i could walk away and not be angry,i told him this and he was fine about it, and i came bk home only to find an email saying he does think what if? and tellin me he wants to move to america where he can play is golf, he said his changed so much and has a better understanding of things, then goes on about how we could meet for a coffee and a chat sometime, and what ever happens he wishes me good luck. the reason why i found this so strange is it was a very bad relationship, and ended in a bad way, and when he

He could just want to be friends. U said yourself u dont want to leave with bitter feelings for each other and this could be just the thing. Just be friends with him. Its probably all he wants. After the talk he probably realized that it would be good for u guys to be friends

Let me tell you what someone on here once told me....
He thought he could find better and he ended up learning lesson 101: The Grass Is Not Always Greener. He thought he'd find something better and now that he hasn't and he sees how good you're doing without him he wants you back. Don't do it. You deserve so much better.
Be strong and don't let him start playing mind games.

He saw you, and realized that he had not yet found anything better, so he would like to keep you going until he does. You are on the mend. Don't let him cut you open again.

Sounds like you need to move on, and you're in a very hurt stage right now. My advise to you, is to work on yourself. Get your mind off of this guy, cause, from the sounds of it, he's not really thinking about you.
