Wondering if it's possible - I have an after market CD player, but i like the OEM one and I also like the sound of the stock speakers so would like to hook them into stock CD player/stereo if possible. Suggestions?

Well, you dont have to change out the radio, but neither radio can power the subwoofers alone, you'll need an amplifier for them.

As far as hooking up an amp to your OEM radio, yes is in possible. There are two ways.

First if the amp you have has a high level input you can tap into the front speakers, its how the amp gets its signal.

If the amp doesnt have a high level input and only low level (RCA) then you'll have to purchase a high to low converter from a shop. They run anywhere from 5-20 bucks and it also taps into the speaker leads and has RCA output so that you can just plug the RCAs into it and then run them to the amp.

Hope this answered your question.

You will need a line level converter. You will have to splice into your stock speaker wires, and then you can hook up the line level converter to your amp using standard RCA's. Also, some amps come with line level inputs, so you will just need to splice your speaker wires into the line level input of the amp.

the best line level interface is the one made for your radio not any universal adaptor
