he's ugly, broke, goofy, has no job, lives with his parents, doesn't have a car and thinks i'm his girlfriend. I have never led him on, i'm young, attractive and have a great job. Is he a psycho or just plain nuts? It's getting kind of scary, really.
Yes, i talk to him once in a while, but he knows he's not my type, so how do i break the news?

Whew, for a moment there I was worried. I drive a van and don't live with my parents. So how many of us do you have stalking you? You just tell them you're all mine, well I guess I have to share with a couple others but at least I'm first. Right?

First you sound really insensitive and cocky in your question to be honest. Maybe try being a tad more sensitive to his feelings first of all. Saying he is ugly and talking all about how he is a loser and your a winner just because of the way you look or because you got a better job than he does. La De Da! It doesn't mean you are so much better than he is but if you want to lose him, your best bet is to dress down in front of him. Sloppy. Act like you have bad habits. Watch the movie "How to lose a guy in 10 days" or 7 days.whatever it is and get some tips. But don't assume your SO MUCH better than he is just because your better looking, got a better job and so on. It comes off really cocky sounding and if you lose him, it might be best not only for you but for him as well. He doesn't need to have feelings for someone with no respect towards his feelings!

Break the news, By telling him you had a date the other night and it went well...
he may get upset... But hopefully he remains quiet and realizes it...
If the problem is he tells other people, Just explain you feel bad for him, and that you are dating someone else, but haven't told him because you guys hardly ever talk anyway...

he sounds like one of those people you just can not be nice to. other that hello or goodbye do not go out of your way to converse with him. tell him firmly one time, "you are not my boyfriend and you are really making me uncomfortable. we can never be anything other than casual friends. i would appreciate it if you leave me alone, don't call me, don't come by my house or job. " if he doesn't leave you alone and you really feel like he is being a stalker tell another adult. Have your parents talk to his, he may have a mental disorder that keeps him from working or driving.

Next time that he implies that you are his girlfriend you let him know that you aren't. I doesn't matter whether he is with his friends or just with you. That's a crazy situation that has happened to me before.
By the way, I don't know but if you were really as attractive as you claim you are and he was as ugly as you say then most likely he would be to intimidated to talk to you. Maybe he is the one who is doing you a favor by talking to you, LOL.

The quicker the better. He will keep and it will get more psycho on until you make "NO" clear with ALL words and actions. There is no room for nice in these situations.

dont text him or email. u need to tell him personaly. just say it in a nice voice. tell him hes not ur type, but u'll still be a normal FRIEND

You haven't explained what he does that makes YOU think that he thinks your his girlfriend...
Just say outright, "You're kidding right? We're not bf/gf, we don't do any of that bf/gf stuff and I don't feel that way toward you..."

dont talk to him at all...or if you do speak to him just say "i'm going out with my boyfriend or I have a date tonight"
he'll get the point...
