If they admit we are really Christians they will have to convert to our Church because no where in the Bible were we instructed to split the church and start new religions. Many of them are only repeating what they were taught (wrongly) by people with dishonest motives and do not realize they are spreading hateful lies. Many do convert to our Church when they start to investigate the facts. Peace be with you.

I think many (not all) of the Protestants think the Holy Catholic Church is some kind of demonic institution which is a terrible lie and misinformation. Either they have been taught about it or they have been reading lies about the Catholic church. I think it is disastrous for their souls because this hatred keeps them away from the one and only source of salvation and from the graces that come from the sacraments of the Catholic church.
It would be good if they did some research from authentic Catholic sources about what Catholicism really means and not believe in a lie. Do we worship Mary and the saints? No we dont. Do we indulge in idol-worship? No.
Christ never said His Catholic Church would be run by flawless angels. Where there are human beings there is going to be sin and mistakes(even terrible ones). Inspite of all this the true church instituted by Jesus Christ in the year 33 still survives and will survive to the end of time as it is built on the Rock of Peter (the Pope) even if all attempts are made by the Evil One to shake it and topple it down.
Also the actions of a few cannot be used to describe the actions of all priests. There are thousands and thousands of Catholic priests who are labouring hard, living in difficult conditions, caring for the poor and downtrodden, missionaries in foreign lands facing persecution and sometimes death as they minister to the flock under their care. Are these good priests to be forgotten because of the actions of a few?

It is false to say that only Catholic Priest have molested children. It is even to false to say that the majority have. Its probably allot less than 10% but they get all the press coverage. However its not bearing false witness to say you disagree with some of the Catholic Churches teachings. I'm a Baptist and I would claim you were lying just because you disagree with me.
God bless you Meg

Some....No, hold on - most Human beings bear false witness.
Abuse takes place in all sorts of places some of those are churches. The Catholic church hasn't encouraged child abuse but by trying to cover it up, asking the children to keep quiet and moving the guilty clerics to another location they have made matters worse.
The Roman church can only prove it's spiritual and moral superiority when it hands over abusers and evidence to the authorities. As it stands Rome has proven itself to be an institution of the world not of God.
Any person or organisation who allows abusers to get away with child abuse is in league with evil - regardless of whether you believe in God or the Devil. A church of any denomination or faith allowing practitioners/ clerics to behave like this is wrong to do so.

as quickly as an previous guy went to the city for the 1st time to bypass to his son and notice how he became getting on. He desperate that he by no ability had to hearken to one among these racket lower back. right here day, he heard various the main haunting music he'd ever heard in his existence. He observed the source and observed that somebody became enjoying a violin. He found out that the day in the previous a student have been practising, yet this became a maestro enjoying. Then it happened to him that faith became like that. many people have not yet mastered their religions, and that they make this god-undesirable racket. some have mastered it, and that they make spectacular, inspiring music. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that it does not end there... in the previous the guy left, he heard the wealthy, finished sound of an orchestra enjoying a symphony. no longer basically have been they maestros who mastered their very own contraptions, yet they discovered a thank you to play nicely with others in stay overall performance. that's what non secular people must be aiming in direction of.

They need someone to look down upon, to demonize because they know deep down that they are failing ( great religious perspective ). The mormon missionaries and members have said really mean things about the catholic church. After they leave I wonder, what do they fear ?, why do they hate ? I am becoming more confused about religion and do not know what to do.

I don't think the issue is with the abuse - that sort of abhorration (sp?) happens in all religions, I'm sure - but rather with the systematic cover-up of said abuses. Truthfully, most Catholic I know are wonderful people, and the same goes for a Priest I used to have some contact with and a nun that I grew up with. But some of the leadership of the Catholic Church gets my hackles up.

I have had to hold my tongue on more then one occasion when I have heard statements like " My Friends are not saved. They are Catholoic" I have never heard any denomination make statements like that but I have heard individuals say it. Then again the Seventh Day Adventist say that all who worship on Sunday are following the beast. I think we are simply fallen fleshly sinners that need a lot of help being conformed to the image of Jesus. Self included. Personally I love Catholoics and fully expect to see a bunch of them in Heaven.

They are desperate to bring us down. I love that some spout the "truth" and yet they are so presumptious to say that they'll go to heaven if they are born again. Only God knows everything, such as who will go to heaven.

For the same reason why people of all branches of the Christian faith (and all other faiths I've ever met) do any bad thing--because people are imperfect.
