I am a 22 yr old woman who met a 32 yr old man. He has a teenage boy and a stable job that keeps him busy almost every day. He looks like he would be 25 yrs old and is VERY attractive. The first time we went out on a date was the first time we kissed, had drinks and ended up sleeping with eachother.
Its been almost 2 months now and everytime we see eachother (1or2x a week)he comes and picks me up, we always go to his place to watch movies/tv, end up getting intimate and having sex with eachother, sleep in the same bed in eachothers arms, and he takes me home the next day in the morning. Everytime we see and depart, we always hug and kiss.I call him baby, he calls me mami.Thing is, he always says he's busy and rarely calls me on the regular. I seem to be the one to always be calling him if he doesnt call. we go sometimes 3 days without talking. I try to make plans but he seems to always be busy.He hasnt asked me to be his GF yet.Says hes patient&takes things slow so we grow stronger...

I just remembered, on Sunday he picked me up from the mall because my crazy EX was there and he was taking me home. We drove by the theater and he says "hey, we're right here by the theater, lets see if a movie is gonna start?". SO he has tried to go somewhere public with me but we didnt go cause no movies were starting. He's taken me for coffee and lunch before also. But the last time I saw him and spoke to him was sunday.
He sounded pretty down, either mad or sad that day and wouldnt tell me what was goin on. I wrote him an email 2 days ago to see if he was ok and he wrote back yesterday saying thank you and he appreciated it. But I still havnet heard from him on the phone. I just called him 30 mins ago and he didnt pick up, so I left a message.... he usually goes to sleep by 11 so we'll see what happens... what do you think is going on?

Also, I just got done 2 nights ago painting a beautiful painting for him, made a cd of slow jams, and got some insence and tea for him. I thought I'd be able to cheer him up and relax him with a nice surprise I made.... should I still do it? I think he's depressed??

no...it won't ...you've turned into the free booty call...have a bit more self respect and don't do that...he's lying to you.

Have you heard of the phrase "BEING USED"?

Why buy the cow when the milk is free? You don't expect this to become serious do you? He takes you to HIS HOUSE, not out in public as most normal men do on dates. What part of that did you miss?

Tell him you are busy a few times and see how quick he finds himslef another "side dish". He isn't interested in marriage with you. He is getting his sexual gratification and testosteronal needs met. PERIOD!

"Says hes patient&takes things slow so we grow stronger" Oh my goodness, this is one of the oldest lines in the book.

He isn't even showing you respect. The fact he calls you "mami" is indicative of his LACK of respect. The term "mami" is a very old word for private wh*re. Mistress? Call it what you want, it is a derogatory comment.

Move on before you are truly hurt. There is NO future in this kind of relationship.

He sounds like he wants to really get to know you before commiting to you. It sounds like yall are heading toward a committee relationship. Just be patient. I had the same problem with my older man not wanting to committ too quickly. Just don't bring it up and and he will eventually ask. But you have to let it be his idea. Mine came out of the blue and he just said we should move in together. I took that as him wanting a committment. We moved in together and have been for the last 5 years. But it did take a while. Good Luck!

Also, don't listen to people who say he is too old for you. You are only 10 years appart. The main thing is do you have the same interests in life. My older man is 17 years older than me and we have been together for almost 6 years. And they have been the happiest ones of my life.

He is right things do take time but it seems to me, that he's just looking for a booty call and trying not to be a real jerk about it. If you really want it to be something more, stop calling him, let him call you. and when or if you hang out with him gain don't have sex with him, and see how he acts... Try saying no, I bet you he will have more respect for you.

Maybe it will, and maybe it won't -- but if you find it fun and satisfying, go with it. A serious emotional relationship will come to you in time. It might be with him, but it will more probably be with someone else. So keep your eyes open for Mr. Right! And while you wait for him to arrive, stay with this guy if he is kind to you. The sex is good, right? So hang in there until Mr. Right comes into your life and sweeps you off your feet. I hope it is soon for you....

I'm sorry, but after 2 months? It sounds like you are just a booty call. It's like he is just filling a void. He gets to drive the car when he wants, but doesn't have to make any of the payments.

i would try not answering his phone calls for a week or so and not call him at all. let him wonder about you like where you are what youare doing who you are with. put him on the back burner like he has been doing to you. don't always be readily available. either he will see what he is missing and treat you more repsectfully, or he won't bother and you will have the answer to your question, and need to move on and find a guy you deserve.

my honest opinion is that why should he get serious with you , when he know when he does he can get it all the time. What I would do is wait for him to call you and tell him that you want him to take you out to dinner and that. and don't get intimate with him and sleep over his house that night . and see if he sticks around. for you I hope he does. but at least you will know how he feels. good luck.

The friendship is sexual. With a man of any age this is risky. However, I was in a 7-year relationship with a man 13 years older than me. I know he cared a lot about me, but I think that older men are looking to see if they still have it. But it is a big risk to stay involved and see how it turns out. Seek God and let Him guide you.
