OK these are the steps you will need to take.
1. your 13 so your follicles are still maturing. Go to the store get Mane and Tale shampoo, and Mane and Tale conditioner but get the leave in.
2. Don't wash your hair everyday, if its dry wash it every other week. It sounds crazy but trust, it works.
3. If you like to wear it straight like a wrap, get some frizz serum, apply about 2 dime size drops to your palm, massage into hair, then blow dry with a brush or round brush.
4. Then straighten the hair with hot curling irons.
5. Its very important to wrap your hair at night with a head scarf (not cotton,it drys your hair). This will prevent you from using so much heat in your hair and also prevent it from being so dry.

No, No, No, sweety! I'm 13 too and I'm only half black half white. But sweet never use Head and Shoulders for your hair ok. I used it once and it made my hair dry and crunchy and poofy!! It was a hot mess! For your hair I think you should Pantene Relaxed and Natural products( For women of color. I use it and the works for me my hair sounds like yours so it should work for you too iight. Also I think you should go to a Dominican hair salon. They blow dry your hair sooo well! If you pay close attention to what they do to your hair , you should be a blow drying professional! Thats how I learned. GOOD LUCK GURL!!

Head & shoulders dosen't work for me. Try L`oreal or Garnier Fructis.. Dr. Miracle and Organic Root Stimulator line is excellent too. You should also get the Africa's Best Hair Mayonnaise to deep condition. Look for what suits your hair (damaged, split ends, thinning hair).

you can but read the bottle to see what is best for your type of hair
pantien puts out a spray in conditioner and you leave it in

do you blow dry your hair?
if so it's not good for it at all

on a weekend when there is not school buy a shower cap soak hair with baby oil leave shower cap on over night wash out next day you will have to wash hair a couple of times but well worth the moister that will be added to your hair

trim split ends.apply lukewarm hair oil to hair, and let it soak for an hour, wash with mild shampoo, drier should b avoided, and use ' silk-n-shine' on semi wet hair.this contains fruits and vitamins which helps hair keep silky.
just try dear.
