I took my 7mth old; 3lb chihuahua "Mia" to my sons soccer game last Sunday. We were outside from 8:30am to about 12:30pm. Mia is not used of being outside for a long period of time. When I looked down at her, she had little white spots on her head. I picked her up to take a closer look and the spots started turning into blisters and growing. I went into the shade with her and she returned to normal. Now, I have a skin disease and have to protect myself from the sun, could it be true that a chi takes whatever illness that their owner has?

Yes, dogs can get sunburn....especially dogs with light colored or thin coats. You have to be really careful that they are not in the direct sunlight for long periods of time. There is some type of sun protective lotion for dogs...I'm not exactly sure what its called though or what brands you can use.

Dogs do not share illnesses with people. Dogs can indeed get sunburned whether or not they are used to being outside. This is more common on very thin coated breeds or non-coated breeds (like mexican hairless) and in areas which have little hair such as between the nose and where the hair gets heavier on the muzzle.

Dogs can get a sunburn! Next time you take your dog out with you, i would suggest bringing along an umbrella or a small carrier that will protect him from the sun.

before everything examining the respond on your question is a sturdy "No". You point out no particular species yet initiate talking approximately canines fur protecting the canines. Many species of canines have very short fur w no sort of undercoat for further protection. They go through & die in the chilly. Your assumption is customarily the perfect option that a canines exterior gets your hands on guard. the standard canines might attempt to detect guard of a few type yet there won't be the type of guard which will shield them nicely adequate from the climate. it is no longer jus the "chilly" it is risky. Will the canines be moist? Will there be wind? How sturdy is the wind? there are a number of species which could face up to chilly iciness circumstances yet quite maximum canines can not. My 5 canines all have fur even in spite of the shown fact that it is totally short & there is none on their bellies. they are actually not followers of the chilly. How nicely a canines does in the chilly additionally will count number on the canines time-honored wellbeing. Sled canines in Alaska that are conditioned from delivery to a existence exterior can not be whilst in comparison with a Beverly Hills Chihuahua. it quite is like asserting a diamond is the comparable as a splinter of wood. It seems such as you're asking a time-honored question approximately all canines breeds so even w a re-study of your question the respond continues to be "No". canines uncovered to the climate won't fare besides as a canines given suited protection from the climate. The harsher it extremely is exterior the extra directly the animal will replace into debilitated & finally die, in basic terms like people.
