I have two girl staffies, but when one poos the other tries to eat it and vice versa, is this normal?

It is a very common thing.
Many dogs do it and there are many theories out there as to why ranging from vitamin deficency to boredom.

Ya know lots of dogs eat poo, for whatever reason, boredom, extra vitamins, or just because they've got into the habit, Ooh don't it make their breath smell ugh. The quickest deterrent is to put Cayenne pepper on the poo and clean it up every day, from personal experience it does work, You might also try a vitamin supplement.
