If you have the subs wired to too low of an impedance, this will cause the problem.

I just installed an Infinity reference amp into my truck and it was doing about the same thing. You could try to call Crutchfield toll free and they can help you out (or try to). You can also check your amp and see if there are any peices of wire or anything inside of the places where you put your wires into, new amps have a protect feature that when you get anything like that into them they will not work. I would call Crutchfield and ask them though.

sounds like the protect light is on and that means you have destroyed the output transistors due to a low load or a short and your amp is protecting it self. better get it serviced. to prove its not your load disconnect your speakers and connect the amp, if the l.e.d is red its time for a new amp. what do you expect from a crunch amp...check tip35c and 36c for continuity and you'll find a short across the power transistors.

ask to get a new amp for your b-day

Sounds like an issue with the subwoofers ohm load being too low.

Has it ever worked? Sounds like you have something wired up wrong.

P.S.

Nice to see you sparky.
